Scottish Festival

We had a nice afternoon at the Scottish Festival today., the weather was a beautiful 73 degrees, sunny, with a light wind. Because the residue of Hurricane Ike came our way we skipped Saturday, which was supposed to be the biggest day of the festival. Also, Clan Gunn was not represented at the festival, but only 10 or 15 clans had their own tent anyway. Some photos below, and a clip from Wicked Tinkers, a band whose genre is, apparently, Tribal Celtic. They were great, and over the course of their set, attracted a very large crowd to their tent, with pipes and drums cranked up to 11. Check ‘em out on Youtube if you want. They were recently on Craig Kilborne’s show, so that might be a good clip.
